Group Therapy

Group therapy provides a sense of community and belonging for individuals who may feel isolated or disconnected. Being part of a group can help individuals feel less alone and can be a valuable resource for individuals seeking support, growth, and healing. By creating a community of individuals facing similar challenges, group therapy can provide a safe and supportive environment for individuals to work through their struggles and build resilience.

Disconnection in Congestion

Hosted by Kyle Barry, LMSW

Located virtually on a HIPPA compliant secure video platform, weekly on Wednesdays from 7:00-7:45pm

This is an open, interpersonal process group specifically for adults in their 20's and 30's located in New York state. Targeted for those who feel “disconnected” (interpersonally, career-wise, familial, etc.) and struggle with meeting new people, feel emotionally distant in current relationships they already have, feel ambivalent about remaining in NYC, or who suffer from “social battery drainage” and who crave more social activity. A safe space where we become able to relate better with others and to feel better about ourselves. We aim to mindfully pay attention to our thoughts, feelings, and reactions as they occur moment to moment as the group takes place and to report on what we notice.
